From the moment I made contact with Cecile and Jose at Vanpuravida it was a union of the dream team!  Their enthusiasm for my project of bringing “Lola” to life was 100%.  I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Cecile, Jose and their fabulous team.  They are exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable about what they do in creating the most gorgeous campervans…and in my case creating “Lola”, the campervan of my dreams.  She is everything I wanted, plus more…THANK YOU Vanpuravida!

We’ve had such an amazing experience with Vanpuravida!

We started the conversion with another company, bought our new van with them and planned the lay-out. There was going to be an up and down electric bed, slatted ceiling with sunroof, toilet and kitchen. The bed was bought and had to be installed and also the floor was laid. The problem I had with the other company, is that every wish I had seem to be a problem and it started to be a painful process. We decided to separate ways. And I am so pleased we did because we found Vanpuravida. They had to pick up and correct things where the other company left it. Suddenly all my wishes were not a problem and Cecile (one of the owners) is even more fussy and demanding than I am! She came up with some great ideas and Jose (the other owner) is such a perfectionist and an amazing crafts man. I had sleepiness nights before with the previous company. But with Vanpuravida it started to be a fun experience and I looked forward to every step on its way. Nothing was too much for them. We changed our ideas a few times during the build but they were both always very accommodating in fulfilling our new plans. Because of Vanpuravida, our campervan, Miss Mokum, is a true gem. We receive many compliments on our travels and she wouldn’t be the beauty she is without Vanpuravida. Cecile and Jose are such professionals and also lovely people to work with.

 We had been looking for a company to convert our van for some time and from the moment we met José and Cecile we were struck with their passion and creativity, along with their obvious ability and talent.  They understood our objectives and were very flexible (and as excited as we were!). They communicated with us every step of the way and accommodated our increasing list of demands and ideas (including space for 2 bikes and 2 dogs) with the words ‘we like a challenge’ - never a ‘no, it’s not possible’, always a ‘we will try to find a way’. José and Cecile are perfectionists, their attention to detail second to none and if they weren’t happy with something they would do it all over again, likewise if we weren’t sure (which was very rare).  One example of their creativity is the back of the seat into the van.  For this particular seat we had not seen one with a back, it was always a stool. We really wanted a backrest and so José designed it to be beautifully curved, becoming a real feature as you enter the van. The slide out sofa system is also a thing of beauty (despite not being visible) and the barrier between the dogs and the bikes is really stylish, as is the shower room, the door mirror, the lighting...we could go on and on!  Our resulting van, Henry, is perfect in every way, we are absolutely delighted with the result. It is not often expectations are met but in this case they were exceeded. (José stopped sending us pictures towards the end so that we had the surprise reveal, and what an overwhelming surprise it was!). Superb is the only way to describe Henry. We would highly recommend Vanpuravida without hesitation and would use them all over again - if only we needed another van!  Thank you, José and Cecile, you have been amazing.

Words can't describe how amazing the team at Vanpuravida are. My camper van "Bonnie" was a true work of art and the team's incredible talent and craftsmanship shone in every way. Living in her was a dream come true. When tragedy struck and Bonnie was stolen, the team went above and beyond to assist me in

 If you are thinking of having a van conversion done these guys are the best in the business. I honestly cannot praise Cecile and Jose enough at vanpuravida for doing such an incredible job on my Mercedes’ vario. Through lockdown I was on you tube constantly watching van life videos and began this crazy dream on owning my very own. I bought a Mercedes’ vario thinking I could do it myself and boy I was so wrong! I called Cecile at vanpuravida and she put my mind at ease straight away. She is super polite and professional and has an amazing eye to detail. then I was introduced to jose. This guy I’m pretty sure is capable of anything. I Had this vision in my head and he understood every little detail. Honestly guys if I could give a ten star review I would :))

 Hi, I’m Elise. In the month June 2021 I had been thinking of buying a camper van for all my holiday desires and by July 2021 I done just that and started my journey! Initially I was to purchase a ready made vehicle. I raised my interests of purchasing but unfortunately it was already sold, it was owned by a company called VANPURAVIDA.   I researched and messaged them, they were absolutely fantastic, arranged a video call with me and explained to me how they could tailor it to exactly how I wanted and I was amazed. I chose to go with them to convert the back of my van and I’m so grateful and happy I did. They take pride in their job, they are perfectionists and don’t cut corners. But most of all the communication skills they have with you is absolutely phenomenal to get every single detail you want and they are so helpful and willing with any ideas you have. They are definitely yes people. Even after my conversion I was so grateful they still had the time to talk me through the mechanics of the conversion until I was comfortable to maintain it on my own, I know if I had any reason to call they would help as much as they possibly can. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s thinking about doing a van conversion to choose this company, a lovely couple who want your dream to come true.

If you have ever wanted to live the van-life dream (or even a weekend van-life dream like me), then congratulations! You have just found the best company with the best people to allow you to do that!

After initially wanting to do my own van conversion, I found Vanpuravida when searching for inspiration on quirkycampers.com. Immediately I realised I could never ever achieve the quality and finish that they get, so I went to visit them and ended up buying their second ever van conversion. It was also way cheaper than doing it myself.

It was - and still is - a dream come true; everything works perfectly and everything about it is absolutely stunning. 

Sylvie (the name of my van) is the envy of everyone who sees her. No matter where we have been, everyone who sees inside the van is absolutely amazed at the detail and craftsmanship of the work throughout the whole van. Every time we made a coffee or had lunch with the door open, somebody would come over with their jaw on the floor and want to talk about it!

Jose and Cecile (the husband and wife team who own Vanpuravida) are also very responsive and full of great advice, as they lived on the road for a while too in their first van.

The van itself is inconspicuous (a long wheel base white Mercedes Sprinter) but inside is like a luxury flat with a double hob, a fridge, a toilet, hot running water (for the shower and the kitchen tap), a powerful heater, air-con and a surprisingly comfortable bed! Living in London, I know that the van is nicer than a lot of one bedroom flats my friends live in! 

Importantly too, the living space is completely separate from the driving cab, which keeps it cozy, clean and temperature controlled all year round.

If you have ever wanted to try off-grid living or just go and see some incredible places that you normally cannot get to, I would recommend Vanpuravida time and time again!

I will start by saying Cecile and Jose are lovely, ever so friendly and welcoming. These guys have a great energy and enthusiasm that is truly reflected in their van builds.  I bought their first van, that I christened Aurora.  I was initially drawn by the van design/layout, there seemed to be so much space! And after meeting them for the first time bought the van there and then. Since buying the van I have been making some changes/mods and they have been with me every step of the way.  Offering advice and hands on assistance if required without which I would have struggled.  For me these guys come highly recommended  Jonathan & Aurora
